The jar’s cylindrical body stands on small foot and holds the conic lid with sliced top on its concave neck. On the body, there is a big bird illustration with long beak and crown. The curled body parts of the bird resemble traditional Turkish motif, rumi. The surrounding elements of the bird, tiny dots and crosses, spread throughout the jar. Secondary pattern of this hand painted jar are four lobed, flower like, pattern which can be seen on the body, the neck and the lid on different sizes. The edges of the body and the lid are encircled with nail motifs. The blue colored glaze of this vase gives it an extraordinary character.
